Meet Libby, Junior Account Manager at BRINQQ Marketing

The team at BRINQQ brings together different skills, experiences and personalities to deliver great work for our clients. Behind every content shoot, social post and campaign is a team making sure everything comes together. You may know BRINQQ, but how well do you know the people behind it?

Give us a glimpse into your day-to-day work at BRINQQ. What keeps you on your toes?

I am a Junior Account Manager at BRINQQ, although the role has many different branches.

For our clients, I organise and attend content shoots, edit and schedule videos, and develop content and campaign ideas for future projects. I also help manage the weekly content process, making sure everything is ready, approved and posted at the right time.

Each day is different, which is one of the things I enjoy most about the role. My main objective is to keep our clients happy by ensuring high-quality content is produced and posted every single week.

How did you get into marketing?

My marketing journey started at Bournemouth University, where I studied Business Management with Marketing.

As part of my degree, I completed a placement year at Nationwide Building Society. I spent four months working within the social media team, followed by six months in the campaigns team. During that time, I worked on major projects including Fairer Share and Nationwide’s FlexStudent campaign.

When I returned to university, I wanted to continue building my marketing experience. I became one of the university’s content creators and started working part-time at BRINQQ as a Social Media Assistant.

After graduating, I joined BRINQQ full-time as a Junior Account Manager, and I am having the best time!

What type of projects do you enjoy working on most?

My favourite projects are themed campaigns, such as our World Cup content series for Southern Fried Chicken.

I enjoy being involved throughout the whole process, from coming up with the initial ideas and preparing the content plan to attending the shoot, editing the videos and publishing the final posts.

It is incredibly rewarding to see an idea that started in a planning session become a complete campaign that people can watch and engage with online.

What do you think makes a project work well?

I think the strongest projects come from having a great relationship with the client.

It requires give and take. We listen to the client’s notes, knowledge and input to make sure our ideas suit their business. At the same time, clients need to trust us and give us the freedom to publish the content we believe will work.

When that relationship is strong, ideas move more easily, content feels more natural and everyone enjoys the process much more.

What do you enjoy most about working at BRINQQ?

I enjoy how varied the work is. One day I might be planning a campaign, the next I could be attending a content shoot, editing a video or preparing posts for several different clients.

It also means I get to work with businesses from different industries, each with their own personality, audience and goals. There is always something new to learn and no two weeks are exactly the same.

Beyond work, what keeps you busy?

Outside of work, I love dancing. While studying at university, I was part of Bournemouth University’s dance competition team.

I am also a big musical theatre fan and love visiting the West End to watch shows. It is one of my favourite ways to spend my free time and recharge after a busy week.
